Week one of The Great Lock In is officially behind us. If you’ve been on TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen creators committing to this trend: locking in, cutting distractions, and actually showing up for themselves.
For me, The Great Lock-In feels like a natural extension of my 90 Days to a Better Me challenge from earlier this year. Same energy, different season. Instead of starting from scratch, I decided to build on that foundation and really test how consistent I can be when I stick to the plan.
I eased into the transition, but I stuck closely to my personal “syllabus” — which has been my anchor.
1. Block Schedule – I found a FREE Canva template that turned my scattered to-do lists into a visual schedule. Suddenly, my week had a rhythm.
2. Personal Syllabus – Yes, like I’m my own professor 😂. I mapped out the “subjects” of my life right now: fitness, finances, writing, healing, and content.
👉 You can grab the exact Canva template I used and my syllabus if you want to try it too.
The Wins & the Walls
Win: I stuck to my workout plan and actually felt myself building momentum. My body is sore, but my mind feels sharper.
Wall: I definitely ate out way too much this week. Convenience won a few too many battles — but noticing the pattern is step one.
Future Focus 🔮✅
* 🥗 Meal prepping so I don’t sabotage my progress with Uber Eats orders.
* 🧹 Decluttering my space (because my environment always reflects my energy).
* 📊 Staying consistent with my block schedule.
The best part of this trend is how collective it feels. It’s not just me grinding away in a corner — it’s thousands of us, in real time, choosing discipline over distraction. 🌍🤝

I focused on personal finance, fitness, and learning the art of homesteading for the Great Lock In!
One win: I set up a syllabus, created a budget, and made it out of the house for a mile-long walk three days this week!!
One wall: I spent a little too much on takeout this week trying to get through work because I spent all of my free time trying to set up for the great lock in instead of meal prepping 😅
